Hullo, I’m Miguel. I’m a second year and I finally decided last quarter (Fall 2010) that I’d major in History with a focus in Middle East and East Asian studies. I’m not entirely sure what I’ll do with it, but for the time being, it’s what keeps me interested. If I don’t find anything I want to do in the future, I may just follow in my grandfather’s footsteps and work for a foreign consulate (easier said than done, though). I’ve traveled all over from Saudi Arabia to Portugal. I spent my summers as a kid in the countryside of Umbria in Italy. There, I picked up a lot of Italian, but I eventually lost it when I began studying Japanese at 10. Tokusatsu (Ultraman, Kamen Rider, Super Sentai) and science fiction hold a special place in my heart. I love a variety of different musics from hip hop to rock & roll.
